Dr. Michael L. Cohen has 29 years of experience as an internist and pulmonologist.  He has particular expertise in the evaluation and treatment of respiratory disorders including asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.  A graduate of Upstate Medical Center, SUNY, Syracuse, NY, Dr. Cohen completed his Post-Doctoral Residency in Pulmonary Medicine at the Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident.  Dr. Cohen is a board certified internist and pulmonologist.

Currently, Dr. Cohen is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU Medical School.  In addition to his clinical appointments, Dr. Cohen maintains a number of professional affiliations. He is an active member of:

• American Society of Internal Medicine

• Nassau County Medical Society

• Fellow, American College of Chest Surgeons

Dr. Cohen is married and has 4 children and 4 grandchildren.  He lives in Great Neck with his wife Diane.
